Medium Voltage Competence Center (MVCC)

A unique experience exploring more than 85 years of progress in medium voltage.

Knowledge, heritage and innovation in medium voltage

The Medium Voltage Competence Center (MVCC) forms the ultimate bridge between the past, present and future of medium-voltage technology. With more than 47 years of experience in medium voltage, the MVCC brings together knowledge of distributed energy and switchgear. We share this expertise through our historical collection, hands-on training courses and spaces for meetings and training.

More than 85 years of progress in medium voltage

In 2014, we documented 75 years of industrial progress. Today, the museum collection presents more than 85 years of medium-voltage history. Many substations were dismantled about 47 years ago, when they were already 30 to 50 years old. Some items in the collection are therefore almost a century old.

At the centre, you can discover the development from traditional installations to modern solutions. Our experience in medium voltage goes back more than 47 years.

Two pillars of the MVCC
